Thanks to an innovative application when manufacturing our HD PLA, we have produced a filament to which no other PLA type is available on the market can compare.
Fiberlogy HD PLA is characterized by exceptional dimensional tolerance of +/- 0,02 mm and ease of printing.
However, the whole potential of HD PLA is utilised after annealing the printout*. This process can be executed very easily with the use of an oven in which a ready-made printout is placed in cool chamber on a flat surface (with any supports and rafts that were used for the print ) and heated gradually up to the temperature of 80°C.
After 15 minutes, the print out must be taken out and cannot be touched until it cools down. Such an annealing process results in a change of properties of a ready-made product which gains mechanical strength similar to ABS with simultaneous increase in temperature stability up to 140c. Note: All filament weights include packaging. Average weight for 10 metres of 1.75mm filament (without packaging) is 25 gms and 5 metres of 3mm filament is 35 gms.
